hi.. I have problems with descriptions on version 1.3

admin template = Admin II
1, I create new link on existing category
2, category selected & is present in group name field
3, I enter link details & description in link form
4, press save in the link form

I get message to say "group data saved"
but I don't get "link data saved" message

basic admin template works fine without descriptions... any idea what could be wrong?
